Keystone has invested over $13,000,000 in treatment plant upgrades. Within the next 12 to 15 months, it is Keystone's goal to recycle millions of gallons of treated wastewater for beneficial uses such as dust control on roads, crusher sprayers, water for the truck wash, and steam discharge.
Landfill gas generated by wast decomposition is captured and converted to electricity sufficient to provide power to over 22,000 residential homes.
